NJ State Trooper Accidentally Shoots Himself In Penn Station, Report Says

A New Jersey State Trooper was rushed to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in New York's Penn Station Sunday night, CBS News reports.

The trooper was apparently adjusting his belt when his weapon discharged on a platform in the Amtrak section of the station, NJ.com reports.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment and has since been released.
